With foreclosure sales steadily rising, four states are concerned that the use of the foreclosure sale prices in appraisals of neighboring homes is distorting the market. Legislators in Illinois, Nevada, and Missouri have all proposed separate bills that would exclude or restrict foreclosure sales from being used as comparisons to determine the value of homes around them. Tahoe City

Annual Easter egg hunt offers fun for the entire family at Commons Beach. Egg hunt for kids, Golden Egg hunt for parents, pictures with the Easter Bunny, face painting, games and more. Bring your camera. 10 a.m. Rain or shine.

Incline Village

Eggstravaganze! Community egg hunt on Incline Beach from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. for ages infant to 11 years old. Have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.


Community Easter Egg Hunt. Regional Park. 11:30 am. Free. Bring your own basket. Face painting and other activities.


Carnelian Bay

Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt~Brunch served at Gar Woods from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Egg hunt begins at 11 a.m.

Tahoe City

Jake’s on the Lake from 10am-2pm serving an Easter Sunday Brunch Buffet featuring an array of mouth watering items.$24 per adult, $12 per child age 12 and under. Kids may even find a few Easter eggs!


Jake’s Alpenglow Dinners Early-Bird Special

5:30-6:30pm daily (through mid-June, holiday periods excluded).
