The 7th Annual Beerfest & Bluegrass Festival will take place in the Village at Northstar on Saturday July 5, 2014 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. The festival will include beer tastings from dozens of breweries and live music from two premier bluegrass bands. Breweries will be featured on the Village Overlook. Guests who purchase a ticket will receive a commemorative pint glass and be able to sample the various beers. There will also be non-alcoholic beverages and a tasty barbeque available for purchase, as well as seating and games on the Village rink for the whole family to enjoy.

  • 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Beerfest, bluegrass, family festivities on rink, BBQ, and much more!
  • 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Beer garden open
  • 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Snap Jackson & the Knock on Wood Players play live
  • 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys play live

Snap Jackson & the Knock on Wood Players is an award-winning acoustic quartet hailing from Stockton, California. These four gentlemen effortlessly blend Americana, Bluegrass, Soul, and Old Time Music to create a unique, fresh and energetic sound. Lindsay Lou & the Flatbellys

Young “rootsgrass” band Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys has jumped into the forefront of today’s progressive roots music movement. Distinct vocals, tight harmonies, instrumental expertise, and creative arrangements are all essential characteristics of their unique sound. Instrumentally, they can turn on a dime, their arrangements showing a well-developed taste in music based on bluegrass traditions but frequently dipping into swing jazz and popular song craft. Their sound is deftly guided by the clarion vocals of lead singer Lindsay Lou.
