4th of July is a spectacular time to be in the Lake Tahoe/Truckee area!

Start early on the 3rd of July with an all day celebration with food and music in Kings Beach, ending in the spectacular fireworks display over the Kings Beach State Beach, just after dark.

Truckee offers the annual 4th of July parade!  Begin the day with the Firecracker Mile Fun Run, followed by the parade winding down Donner Pass Road through historic downtown Truckee.

In Tahoe City start by celebrating by attending a street fair during the day.  Patrons will enjoy a climbing wall, dunk tank, corn hole games and much more.  FIREWORKS show at dark! Bring a chair and blanket to Commons Beach to enjoy the show!     Over to


Incline Village, Don’t miss the finest Fourth of July Celebration at Lake Tahoe as the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra and music director Laura Jackson welcome tenor Albert Lee to perform Chesapeake: Summer of 1814, a spectacular salute to the 200th Anniversary of The Star- Spangled Banner. Plus, America the Beautiful, 1812 Overture, Stars and Stripes and other patriotic favorites, set to one of the Nation’s top fireworks displays.

Since 2007 Red, White and Tahoe Blue has celebrated our country’s independence while promoting community spirit, local merchants and charitable causes. Because of the tremendous community support we are pleased to present 28 events in Incline Village & Crystal Bay to include the Parade, Concerts, Veterans Tribute, Rubber Ducky Races, Wine & Cheese, Beer & Brats, Community Fair, Ice Cream Social & Chalk Drawing for kids and so much more.

These four days of fun, food, music, and entertainment culminate with arguably the best fireworks display in the country on July 4th at Incline Beach!
